Warranty

All the bicycles sold by Ergo Cycle are covered under the warranties of their respective manufacturers. If you have any questions regarding warranty coverage, please contact Ergo Cycle for more information.

MetaBikes

All frame kits are guaranteed against fabrication defects for two years. 

TW-Bents

All framesets are covered by a three year warranty from TW-Bents. The warranty covers manufacturer's defects only. The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse or neglect, damage to paint, or normal wear-and-tear.

The "frameset" includes these components:

• The frame itself, including main body, suspension boom, and pedal boom

• The seat, including FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) base, seat pad, and head rest

• The handlebars (but not the components mounted to the handlebars)

• Any hardware required to attach the above frameset components

Attached components, required for normal operation of the bicycle, are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties. These warranties are usually one year from date of purchase/delivery from distributor. The warrant(ies) cover manufacturer's defects only. The warrant(ies) do not cover damage due to misuse or neglect, damage to paint (if applicable), or normal wear-and-tear.

"Attached Components" include:

• The crankset, including cogs and crank arms

• The bottom bracket (the bearing to which the crankset is attached)

• The pedals

• The front derailleur

• The rear derailleur

• The rear cassette

• The front brake

• The rear brake

• The brake levers

• The front and rear shifters

• The suspension shock

• The headset (the bearing to which the front fork is attached)

• The front wheel rim, tube and tire

• The rear wheel rim, tube and tire

• The front and rear quick-release wheel skewers

• The chain

• The chain tubes

• Brake and derailleur cables

• Any hardware required to attach the above "Attached Components" may NOT be covered

Accessory items, which are fitted to the bicycle but are not required for the proper operation of the bicycle, are generally NOT covered under any warranty. The exception is rear racks.

Accessory items that ARE covered under manufacturer's warranty:

• The rear rack

Accessory items that ARE NOT covered under manufacturer's warranty include:

• The accessory holder bracket

• The bicycle computer

• The bicycle headlight

• The wheel reflectors

• The front fender

• The rear fender

• The seat-mounted bag
